The Arava Institute and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem are looking to hire a master/doctoral student or post-doc researcher to develop a mathematical programming model of economic optimization in the management of water resources and agriculture. The researcher will be trained in the Multi-Year Water Allocation System (MYWAS) model during 2024, and teach two courses at the Arava Institute in 2025 and 2026.

:Requirements

 Proficiency in the English language

  Preference will be given to Arabic speakers

 Preference for students with a background in Economics, or Business Administrations, or Industrial Engineering, or Statistics and knowledge/experience in Operation Research

 Presence on the Arava Institute campus (Kibbutz Ketura, Israel) 1-2 days/week is required
